Common settings for the multi-application deployment

Hi, guys,

First of all, thank you for a great tool!

Then a question :)

I have moved to BTDF in the multi-application deployment.

So for each VS solution/BTS application I have a separate SettingsFileGenerator.xml file where I set up the parameters for different environments and for the current application.

I would like to have several levels of settings:

  1. [1] parameters for the environmens (logins, groups, hosts). They are the same for all apps
  2. [1] parameters for the external systems. URLs for different environments. Parts of URLs, settings for the shared applications. They are the same for all apps.
  3. [1..N] parameters, specific for a single app.

1) and 2) are common, I don't like to mix 1) and 2) because they are unrelated. I don't like to include 1)/2) into 3) because it is hard to upgrade all settings for, say, 50 applications if something changed in the environment of the external URL.

Question: is it possible to create a "hierarchic" setting files or something to support this?
