We have a BizTalk Solution that covers several installers.
In one of the first installers we create an appool and create a VDIR that uses this appool.
We have several other installers and they all have a vdir that should use this appool created in the first installer. We know the appool is there.
Is there a way to do this with BTDF....
Deploy a VDIR and have it run under an already configured appool.
( So we dont have to enter username & password every time when we install )

The current logic assumes that on a server deployment the AppPool's username and password must be configured. You could override the behavior by copying the DeployVDirs target into your .btdfproj and modifying the ConfigureAppPool task, but that target contains
a lot of logic and wouldn't be pleasant to maintain.
In this case the simplest way is to modify the Deployment Framework's default targets file, which I hate to recommend due to issues with future upgrades, but here it is:
- Edit Program Files (x86)\MSBuild\DeploymentFrameworkForBizTalk\5.0\BizTalkDeploymentFramework.targets in Notepad or Visual Studio
- Find the DeployVDirs target
- In the ConfigureAppPool task, update the Condition to Condition="('$(IisMajorVersion)' == '6' or '$(IisMajorVersion)' == '7') and '$(Configuration)' == 'Server' and '$(ConfigureAppPool)' != 'False'" and save the file (you probably have to run
the text editor As Administrator).
- Add <ConfigureAppPool>False</ConfigureAppPool> to a PropertyGroup in your .btdfproj
