Administrator permissions

I'm setting up a build under TFS 2010 with BizTalk 2010. I have the BizTalk build working under TFS but the BTDF deployment fails.

I followed the directions in the documentation to configure the BTDF deployment under TFS. The problem is that I get an error saying "Use an administrator command prompt to complete these tasks.". This happens when it's trying to un-deploy.

The TFS build service account is in the Administrators group, plus the BizTalk Administrators and SSO Administrators groups.

How can I get the BTDF task to execute using elevated permissions?

Solved --
  • Find gacutil.exe and btstask.exe using Windows Explorer.
  • for each: right click, select the Compatibility tab, select Run as Administrator
